While in Sitia take a very worthwhile visit to the Archeological and Cultural Museum with lots of exhibits from all over the province of Sitia including the unique gold and ivory miniature statue dating back to the Minoan period. You have a great selection of restaurants and tavernas which serves both traditional and international dishes. In the evening there are clubs where you can dance the night away or if you prefer something a little more relaxing you have the choice of many fashionable bars where you can enjoy the pretty harbour and its Venetian castle.
