Pamormo has two good sandy beaches one in the town centre next to the port and the other bigger beach about 200m to the west. In the centre with its narrow streets visitors will find traditional tavernas and shops. Boat trips from Panormo to Rethymnon sail 5 times a week and twice a week to Bali.
