A very pleasant harbour is surrounded with tavernas all offering a good selection of fresh fish meals and other traditional food. For those interested in archaeology a visit to Agios Nikolaos which is only 48km away is a must, there you can see family burials of the early Minoan period as well as the ruins of the middle and late Minoan settlements. Only a short distance from Mohlos are three small scenic villages which are worth visiting.
