A rich plateau boasting a number of water mills surrounds the village and just 3km east of the town is an archaeological site. The towns main street is bustling with clubs, bars, tavernas, coffee bars and shops attracting mainly English tourists. If you want a more peaceful retreat these are available about one mile from the beach.
