Hersonissos harbour is renowned for its nightlife with many restaurants, tavernas and bars next to the beach and offers a wonderful selection of shops for the shopaholics. Hersonissos harbour of today there once stood the Roman City of Hersonissos. Boat trips are available from the port of Hersonissos and the two most popular ones are visiting the small fishing village of Sisi or a fishing tour on a glass bottomed boat. For those wishing for a quieter and more peaceful vacation these can be found in the neighbouring villages.
